Finnies the Jewellers has been in business
for over 43 years, started by Ron and Peggy Finnie. Today
other members of the family share the workload, with son Matthew,
daughter Sarah and her husband Stewart who can all be found
in the shop every day offering the friendly, personal service
for which Finnies has rightfully become renowned.
In such a busy environment,
General Manager Stuart Milne oversees more than 30 staff and
helps ensure that every customer is welcomed and receives
outstanding service from the moment they arrive to the moment
they leave the shop.
The recently extended watch and clock showrooms allow space
for customers to browse through an extensive collection, and
for those customers who wish to try a selection of engagement
rings can do so in the privacy of our comfortable ring rooms.
There
are three jewellers and a watchmaker on the premises (with
over 75 years experience combined) allowing all types of repairs
and adjustments to jewellery and watches to be carried out.
Our watchmaker is a qualified Rolex repairer and undergoes
continuous training by leading Swiss watch brands. We have
also recently invested in state of the art water resistance
testing machinery.
Finnies
has recently expanded their facilities with an onsite stone
setter to offer a level of service you simply cannot find
elsewhere.

Although the majority of individual
and business customers come from the local area, Finnies has
many customers throughout the UK and even abroad. We will
be happy to discuss any requirements you have wherever you
are in the country.
A
recent commercial order was to supply a major company in the
North of England with over 130 individually engraved, commemorative
watches for long serving members of staff.
The Finnies collection of gifts
